OVER, the premier augmented reality metaverse platform has released its Metaverse Fashion Week schedule. Featuring a host of pioneering digital couture brands, alongside traditional fashion houses, OVER’s event is a highlight of the second annual festival, co-hosted by virtual worlds Decentraland and Spatial.

On March 31st, OVER will occupy a prime location in Milan’s Piazza del Duomo to stage a unique hybrid fashion show. Under the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, the virtual catwalk will showcase designs from new and traditional fashion brands – modeled by digital avatars appearing in the physical world, via OVER’s augmented.

OVER’s other major initiative at MVFW is the first-ever cross-metaverse creator contest, which sees fashion designers compete to create digital avatar wearables that are interoperable across OVER and Decentraland. Five winners will share in $10k USD worth of OVR tokens, and have their creations showcased at a special event in the OVER ecosystem on March 28th, starring globally-renowned DJ Regard.
